10. Baseline KAP study the project "Fostering Resilience and Safe Schools in Quang Tri province"

- Description: The goal of this study is to assess the disaster preparedness capacity of local schools and institutes, as well as the level of knowledge, attitudes, and practices of local residents toward disaster risk reduction and safe school.

- Description: The goal of this study is to assess baseline income generated from collection of wild medicinal plants of low-income forest dependent households in project areas.

- Responsibilities: Designing the study, developing the survey protocol and the questionnaire; training enumerators and coordinating fieldwork; analyzing data and writing the report.


13. KAP study for the National Food Fortification Strategy (Vietnam)

- Client: Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN)

- Time: April - November 2015

- Location: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Thanh Hoa, and An Giang (Sample size: 960 consumers)

- Description: The goal of this KAP survey is to gain a complete understanding of the common practices, attitudes and the level of knowledge of consumers as well as associated factors with the consumption of fortified foods. It also investigates the extent to which the social marketing campaign has contributed to changing behaviour of consumers.

- Responsibilities: Designing the study, developing the survey protocol and the questionnaire; recruiting a research agency for data collection; Providing technical support and supervising the selected agency.


14. Industries assessment for the National Food Fortification Strategy (Vietnam)

- Client: Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN)

- Time: April - October 2015

- Location: Vietnam (30 producers nationwide)

- Description: The goal of this research is to investigate the extent to which producers of soy sauce, fish sauce, vegetable oil, and flavouring powders have participated in the national nutrition strategy and the food fortification project.

- Responsibilities: Designing the study, developing the survey protocol and the questionnaire; recruiting a research agency for data collection; Providing technical support and supervising the selected agency.

 

15. A social marketing campaign for the National Fortification Strategy (Vietnam)

- Client: Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN)

- Time: January - October 2015

- Location: Vietnam (nationwide)

- Description: A social marketing campaign to raise awareness and change behaviour of target audience about food fortification (soy sauce, fish sauce, vegetable oil and flavouring powders fortified with vitamin A, iron and zinc)
